1. To enter the flight simulator you need to hold down Ctrl & Alt then press the letter A. This will open the program.
  2. Use G for landing gear.
  3. To go to a place(like your house) in the fly to side bar enter your address then press ctr+alt+a and then select curent view then start flight! your ready for take off
  4. On the flight sim the movements are backward so move the mouse or arrow keys to the left and the plane will go right and vice versa as is for up and down go up on the mouse or arrowkeys to go down and also vice versa.
  5. Try using the propeler plane first it's easier to control.
  6. Simply click your mouse to make the mouse the controller instead of the arrow keys(the angle of attack and pitch(up and down and left and right will still be opposite though).
  7. If you have a joystick or yoke at home download google earth and do the sim the software should pick up your joystick. this will make it easier to control although the AOA and pitch will still be reversed(AOA= Angle of Attack)
  8. To land: hold comma and period and G for landing gear. (Thanks, Eddie!)

update 10/25: Type Ctrl+G to change to this navigation mode when window focus is in the 3D viewer. This mode is in effect when the navigation cursor changes to an airplane. In addition, the effects of G-Force mode are most noticeable the closer you are to the terrain, and become less exaggerated the higher your eye elevation. The behavior of this navigation mode simulates that of a joystick, where the direction your mouse moves indicates specific joystick moves. If you are familiar with using a joystick, you'll be able to use this mode easily. To pan left or right, or to tilt the horizon left or right, left-click and move the mouse right/left of center. To tilt to top-down view, left-click and move the mouse forward (away from you). To tilt to horizon view, left click and move the mouse back (toward you). To accelerate, right-click and move the mouse forward. To decelerate, right-click and move the mouse backward. The response in the 3D viewer to your mouse movements is related to the vigorousness of your mouse movements, so you can test this mode out slowly using movements.
To return to standard, track ball navigation mode, type Ctrl+T. To stop motion in the viewer at any time, press the spacebar.

Thanks to all students who contributed with these great ideas! I will close the wiki now so that we don't have any problems with the information getting deleted. Email me if you learn more stuff, I will add it here!
